Vintage (early 60s) Colclough Amoretta trio in delicate bone china - a very sweet set of one vintage teacup, saucer and side plate combo. Cup is countess shape (or classic shape) with a scaloped rim. Great condition relative to its age, with almost no fading to the hand-painted gilding.
Colclough China Ltd operated under the name on the back stamp from the late 40's to the late 50's - http://www.thepotteries.org/allpotters/286c.htm - love the advert here: appealing to both the eye and the pocket, and unstoppable by just a "trifle" such as a war!
Pattern 7906 - Countess shape
Teacup is 3.5in in diameter and 3in tall. Saucer is 5.5in in diameter and side plate is 6in square.
