Vintage WH Goss Crested Ware LEATHER BOTTLE Souvenir of QUEENSTOWN
A vintage leather bottle figurine, manufactured in England by WH Goss.
In excellent condition for a vintage item.
Design reads 'numine reginæ station fidissima classi' which transaltes to English as 'By the divinity of the queen, the most faithful fleet stands.'
Backstamp reads 'Model of leather bottle. Found on battle-field of Newbury, 1644. Now in museum.'
