2 x Antique SILVER PLATED Shell TEASPOONS Made in Sheffield & Birmingham
A near matching pair of spoons in good antique condition, with very little loss of coating. One of the spoons is slightly bent at the tip.
1 x teaspoon - Hallmark says "WH & S" for William Hutton & Sons, which operated under this name from 1864 to 1893 in Sheffield. Mark also shows "BP" for British Plateand "A1" for best quality. Just over 5in long
1 x teaspoon - Hallmark says "D & A" for Daniel & Arter, which operated under this name from 1885 to 1920 in Birmingham. Mark also shows a crown and a globe symbol, in addition to the words "Nevada Silver" signifying it was made at their Globe Nevada Silver Works of Highgate Street in Birmingham.. Just over 5in long.
