2 X Vintage JAPANESE Moriage Porcelain Enamel COFFEE CUP SAUCERS
A vintage pair of Japanese coffee or green spare or replacement saucers. Backstamp says "Made in Japan". Items have no significant physical blemishes (no chips, cracks or crazing). There is some minor loss of enamel, gilding and hand-applied paint in places. Pieces are decorated in the same motif - a lady in the middle over a lotus flower, flanked by two men, all encircled in gilding, at the front and the blue sea at the back. Hand painted over-glaze on the top side and having white glazed undersides.
