A matching antique three-piece tea set consisting of a teacup, saucer and tea plate, white and burgundy in colour with delicate golden leaf details. Made in Staffordshire, England by British pottery manufacturers Spode. Judging by the backstamp, the pieces were made between 1833 and 1847 (http://www.thepotteries.org/mark/c/copeland.html). Made of fine bone china.
These items are in excellent condition for their age, with no chips, crazing or significant cracks. There is some fading to the ornate hand applied gilding, some fine cutlery marks and one or two very fine, non-functional hairline cracks; please check pictures.
