An antique cup made to commemorate the 1911 coronation of King George the Fifth and Queen Mary. Made for Thomas Scott Foster, Alderman, Justice of the Peace, and Mayor of Portsmouth. Made. by A.E. Gray & Company at Glebe Works, Stoke-on-Trent.
In fair condition considering it is an antique item. Some loss to gilding and a fine hairline crack visible both on the inside and outside of the cup. Significant chip visible both from outside and inside of the cup. Needs gentle cleaning including removal of some tiny paint specks; please see pictures.
