Decorative Plates
An antique decorative flower-shaped collectors plate. Decorated with a scalloped rim and a sepia-tone motif depicting Warwick Castle as seen from across the River Avon. Made in Staffordshire, England by British manufacturers Royal Doulton. Bears the Doulton Burslem mark, indicating it is an item highly sought after by collectors of Victorian and Art Nouveau ceramics. Made between 1891 and 1902.
In fantastic condition for an antique. No chips, cracks or crazing, only small loss to the hand-applied gild around the rim.
