Vintage Danbury Mint 'The Battle of Copenhagen' Plate 8" Boxed COA

A vintage decorative collectors plate plate made to commemorate victory of the Battle of Copenhagen, which took place on the 12th of April 1801 and was led by Vice Admiral Horatio Nelson. Entitled 'The Battle of Copenhagen', the plate reads 'I have only one eye… I really do not see the signal' and depicts a historical naval battle based on classic marine artwork from the National Maritime Museum.

Made in Staffordshire, England by British manufacturers Danbury Mint in partnership with the National Maritime Museum. Serial number 0805. Made of fine porcelain and rimmed with precious 22 carat gold.

Comes boxed and with the certificate of authenticity.
