This 'Papist Wixford' edition is made in England by British manufacturers Royal Doulton as part of their 'Shakespeare’s Country' series, depicting historical and literary scenes centered around Stratford-upon-Avon, England, which was famously the birthplace of William Shakespeare. Has a hand painted under glaze. Pattern number D4149.
In very good condition for a vintage item. Glaze is crackled but the bowl itself has no cracks.
