
A limited edition plate made in 1986 by German artist von Christian Lückel, named 'Vor der Schmiede' which means 'The Blacksmith' in German. The plate is part of the 'Idyllic Village Life' collection. Made in pre-reunification West Germany.
The back reads: "Dies ist Teller Nummer E1779 in einer Auflage, die 1986 beginnt und auf 75 Brenntage begrenzt ist. Erster Teller in der Series Lückel’s idyllisches Dorfleben.
Meine Malerei entsteht in einem Prozess des Suchens und Entdeckens. Am Ende hoffe ich, meine Vorstellung von einer friedvollen und schönen Welt mit vielen Menschen teilen zu können."
