Vintage Jingdezhen Porcelain Chinese Rice Grain Bowl Underplate & Spoon Set

A vintage three-piece Chinese set consisting of matching a bowl, underplate and soup spoon. Blue, white and red in colour and features translucent 'rice grain' reticulated details, where pierced cutouts are filled with clear glaze to create translucent windows when held to light.

There is a dragon-like creature in the middle. On the outside, there is a central floral motif (chrysanthemum) with red and gold polychrome overglaze outer geometric floral patterns and gilded rim accents.

Hand-painted and made of porcelain in Jingdezhen, China.

In excellent condition for a vintage item.

Underplate is just under 6" in diameter

Bowl is 4.5" in diameter and just over 2.25" deep

Spoon is approx 5.25" long
