Plates
A vintage lunch plate decorated with colourful pink, yellow, and blue flower garden and a cozy thatched roof cottage motif. Made in Staffordshire, England by British pottery manufacturers Johnson Brothers as part of their popular dinnerware line 'Old English'. Decorated with a hand-applied gilt, this transferware plate can be used as a serving or as a display plate. Judging by the backstamp, the piece was manufactured at some point after 1913. Made of ironstone.
The plate is in fair condition for a vintage item, without cracks or crazing, and only small losses to the hand-applied gilt - however, it has a significant chip visible on the rim; please check pictures.
