A vintage square-shaped tea plate featuring a colourful botanical motif of flowers and leaves and a golden rim around the edge. Made in Staffordshire, England by British manufacturers Shelley China as part of their 'Chelsea' range, which is pattern number 11280 and was produced during the 1920s and 1930s. Made of fine bone china.
In great condition for a vintage item. No chips, cracks or crazing, only minimal fading to the hand applied gilded decoration and some faint cutlery marks on the piece.
