Vintage Shelley Fine Bone China Lidded Sugar/Condiment Pot - Signed

A vintage lidded condiment pot, ideal for serving and storing sugar, mustard, jam or any other condiment. Made of fine bone china. Made in Staffordshire, England by British manufacturers Shelley. The pot features a botanical leaf motif and delicate gold gilding along with a gold lid finial. There is a small opening in the lid for placing the spoon.

The piece is signed 'N. Nuttall' and was manufactured in the post-war period, sometime between 1945 and 1966.

In good condition for a vintage item. No cracks or crazing, but there is a very tine chip on the underside of the lid which looks like the loss of a speck of gilding around the rim. Gilding is in generally good condition, with no other loss on the lid, but some loss on the rim of the pot itself, which is not visible when the lid is on.
