Vintage W.H. Grindley & Co. Satin White Tudor Star Retro Floral Tea Plate 7"

A vintage retro-looking tea plate, white and sage green in colour and featuring a brown/autumnal coloured floral medallion in the center. Made in Staffordshire, England by British manufacturers W.H. Grindley & Co. as part of their Satin White tableware line, produced primarily from the 1950s through the early 1970s. Features the 'Tudor Star' pattern from the range. Made of ironstone.

The backstamp indicates it was made after 1954 but before 1978 (when company was renamed to Grindley of Stokes).

In good condition for a vintage item with no cracks, chips, or cutlery marks; however there is some fading to the hand-applied gilt and occasional crazing.
