W H GOSS China Crested Ware Miniature MORTAR or vase Souvenir of NEVIN
A vintage miniature mortar or vase in good vintage condition, apart from some fading to the hand-applied gilded decoration and an old hairline crack down the back of the piece - please check pictures. Made in England by W H GOSS. Back of the piece shows a pair of crests in high relief. Bottom reads: "Model of Cromwellian Mortar found at Hythe".
Approximately 2.25in in diameter at the rim and 1.75in tall.
